08/21/2006 BNSF Intermodal Public and Private Price Authorities now Available on bnsf.com A new BNSF application is available to assist customers in managing their intermodal price authorities. BNSF customers can now view public and private price authorities online in PDF format, as well as subscribe to receive email notifications when changes occur to these documents. Features of this New Service · Customers can Request Access to private price authorities online through the customer portal at www.bnsf.com. · Customers can download private price authorities in PDF format through the secured customer portal at www.bnsf.com. · Customers can also download public price authorities in PDF format from the Intermodal Prices page on www.bnsf.com. · Customers can subscribe through Customer Subscription Services to be notified of changes to price authorities. · After subscribing, customers will receive email alerts whenever a public or private price authority has been modified Getting Started Private Price Authorities To begin this process, please log on to the customer portal at www.bnsf.com, navigate to the User Information window and select Request Access. From the Applications list, please select the Setup link next to Private Price Publications. Within three to five business days you will be notified of your access to private price authorities. After authorization, a link will appear for Private Price Publications in the Applications window of the customer portal. Additionally, the link for Private Prices within Customer Subscription Services will display your company’s private price authorities. Public Price Authorities To receive notification of changes to Public Price Authorities, please log on to the customer portal at www.bnsf.com, navigate to the Applications window and select Customer Subscription Services. Within Customer Subscription Services, click the edit icon to the right of Public Prices and drill down to select the appropriate price authority. To view or download Public documents please visit the Intermodal Prices page. You can browse to this page by selecting the link for Markets & Services from www.BNSF.com, then Intermodal, Prices or click the following link: (http://www.bnsf.com/bnsf.was5/iprr/IPRRController). To view or download the private documents to which you have subscribed, please log on to the Customer portal at www.bnsf.com, navigate to the Plan window and select Private Price Publications. Click on the price authority name to download the PDF.
