BNSF Carload Fuel Surcharge for February 2012

This is to advise you that the BNSF carload fuel surcharge for the month of February will be:

    26.5 percent, as provided in Item 3375, Section A ($1.25 strike price) of BNSF Rules Book 6100-A.
    14.0 percent, as provided in Item 3376, Section A ($2.50 strike price) of BNSF Rules Book 6100-A.
The AG Products mileage-based fuel surcharge for the month of February will be:
    $0.66/mile, as provided in Item 3375, Section B ($1.25 strike price) of BNSF Rules Book 6100-A.
    $0.35/mile, as provided in Item 3376, Section B ($2.50 strike price) of BNSF Rules Book 6100-A.
The All Other Freight mileage-based fuel surcharge for February will be:
    $0.66/mile, as provided in Item 3375, Section B ($1.25 strike price) of BNSF Rules Book 6100-A.
    $0.35/mile, as provided in Item 3376, Section B ($2.50 strike price) of BNSF Rules Book 6100-A.
This is based on the national average price of highway diesel fuel of $3.861 per gallon reported in December.

As you were previously advised for January, the percent-of-revenue-based carload fuel surcharge will be 27.5 percent and 15.0 percent; the mileage-based AG Products fuel surcharge will be $0.68/mile and $0.37/mile; and the All Other Freight mileage-based fuel surcharge will be $0.68/mile and $0.37/mile based on Items 3375-3376, Sections A and B, of BNSF Rules Book 6100-A.
