International Intermodal Service Changes Effective December 3

Effective Friday, December 3, 2010, BNSF is making changes to International Intermodal container service in several lanes to improve reliability and better align schedules with volume flows.

Details are as follows:

· Wednesday and Sunday cutoffs from Kansas City, KS, to all Tacoma, WA, terminals will be replaced with Thursday and Monday cutoffs.

· Wednesday cutoff from Alliance, TX, to Oakland International Gateway will be replaced with a Tuesday cutoff.

· To expedite Intermodal interline received traffic moving from eastern railway ramps to the Pacific Northwest, BNSF encourages the use of the Chicago interchange gateway versus other gateways. Please contact your BNSF representative for details on alternate routings.
