As stated in a Service Advisory issued on July 21, 2012, empty coal train, E-MHSEBM0-88, traveling from Springfield, MO to Kansas City, MO, derailed near Arcadia, Kansas, approximately 19 miles south of Ft Scott, Kansas.

The main track was returned to service at 0900 today, July 23, 2012. Shipments will continue to experience delays of 24 to 48 hours on trains moving through this corridor.
