Enhancements to Rail Central Mobile Maps Now Available

BNSF has been making improvements to the Rail Central Mobile Tools in the secure bnsf.com. Beginning today, a map view will be added to Rail Central that improves your mobile experience, ease of use and navigation.

Enhancements include:

  • The ability to plot BNSF track along with the location of cars, units and trains.
  • Different icons to help users quickly identify problem areas.
  • New pop-ups allow for easier identification of traffic break downs and click to view unit functionality.
  • The option to view/hide the legend as well as the ability to add layers like facilities, hubs, ports and mines.

Rail Central can be accessed from any mobile web browser by going to bnsf.com and logging in with your secure userid and password. If you do not have access to the secure section of bnsf.com, you can register at any time by clicking on the “Register” link in the Customer Login box on the BNSF home page.
