BNSF Railway to Launch Redesigned BNSF.com

On Monday, April 17, at 7 p.m. CDT, BNSF Railway will launch a redesigned public-facing portion of BNSF.com. This newly designed section will allow users to fully access the website from their mobile devices (phones and tablets) and will feature simplified navigation enabling easier access to the public information provided on BNSF.com. For those seeking information about the advantages of shipping freight by rail and who want to know more about how BNSF can help with supply chain needs, our redesigned BNSF.com makes it easier to find shipping options.

In addition to the improved layout of the pages, visitors to BNSF.com now have full access to the website from their mobile devices. When the site is called up on a mobile device, a mobile menu icon is located in the upper right hand corner of the screen, providing convenient access to the entire website.

Logging into the Customer Portal

While the design and navigation of the website has been revamped, accessing the secured Customer Portal has not changed in appearance or functionality. The location of the Customer Portal login, however, has been moved in order to make it easier to find. It's now located in the top right corner of the navigation bar rather than under the top navigation bar on the right side of each page.

From a mobile device, tap the menu icon in the upper right corner of the page and a dropdown menu will appear. Then, simply select "Login/Register."

Customer tool access remains uninterrupted

With the site launch scheduled to initiate at 7 p.m. CDT on Monday, April 17, website users may experience an outage of up to one hour on the public-facing side of BNSF.com. Despite the transition to the newly designed website, customers, BNSF employees and BNSF suppliers will still be able to access secured content by using their login ID and password and will not be affected by the outage.

We are pleased to be making this change so as to make our website navigation simpler and information about BNSF more accessible. We look forward to continuing our work to make it easier to do business with BNSF and access the information you need to support your business.
