Detour for Trucks Entering BNSF Logistics Park Chicago (LPC) Hub May 14-16, 2012

The City of Elwood has advised there will be an emergency road closure of Walter Strawn Drive at Route 53 in Elwood, IL from Monday, May 14 through Wednesday, May 16.

It is recommended that all truck traffic use the Interstate I55 and Arsenal Road exit to access the BNSF LPC Hub and Facility Operations. See the attached map for reference.

The BNSF LPC hours of operation will remain the same (24 hours a day, 7 days a week).

Note that all overweight truck permits for this route must be obtained from the State of Illinois, Will County and the Village of Elwood.
