Coal train C-SCMSUC0-09 derailed near Brainerd, Minnesota at 4:20 p.m. CT on July 10, 2011. This location is approximately 30 miles east of Staples, Minnesota.

BNSF personnel are on site to determine the impact. At the current time, we do not have an estimate on the opening of the main track; however, reroutes are being established in order to minimize impact to our customers.
