As stated in a Service Advisory issued on May 6, 2012, expedited intermodal train Z-WSPALT906 derailed near Toluca, Illinois at 03:45 p.m. CT on May 6. The derailment blocked both main tracks and ceased all operations moving along this corridor.

Main track two was returned to service at 10:00 p.m. May 7, followed by main track one being returned to service at 8:50 a.m. May 8. Shipments will continue to experience delays of 12 to 24 hours during this recovery period.
