As stated in a Service Advisory issued on Tuesday, January, 17, 2012 intermodal train Z-CHCSSE9-16 has
derailed near Bainville, Montana at 14:21 CDT on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. This location is approximately 15
miles west of Snowden, Montana.

The main track is estimated to return to service late tomorrow night, January 18, 2012. BNSF will continue to
provide you with additional information as it becomes available. Customers may experience delays of 24 to 48
hours on shipments moving through this corridor.
