Despacho Previo Process for Mexico Traffic Moving via San Ysidro
In a BNSF Marketing News advisory dated February 13, 2006, BNSF notified customers of a new process for Mexico traffic moving into Mexico over the San Diego (San Ysidro), California gateway.
Noted in that advisory was a charge of $200 for each railroad-owned or –leased railcar that is documented to cross into Mexico via San Ysidro.
Effective today, November 1, 2006, this charge is being cancelled.
