BNSF Economic Development Group Reorganizes
BNSF is focused on continuous improvement to consistently meet the expectations of our customers, transloaders and economic development partners. The Economic Development team strives to make BNSF easier to do business with by enhancing our customers’ and partners’ ability to realize growth opportunities.
BNSF’s Economic Development team has implemented a reorganization of personnel to assist with meeting your current and future needs. Because of our commitment to long-term collaborative growth, we have combined the economic development functions (building, expansion, relocation) and transload services functions into one regionally-focused role to better serve you.
By adding more resources and aligning territories around a long-term growth strategy, BNSF’s Economic Development Regional Managers will be better positioned to work with you to provide a comprehensive view of your specific region/territory. Your contact will also be better equipped to develop and execute a more targeted long-term vision of new growth opportunities for your company. Find your new Regional Manager.
With the volume of economic development activity at BNSF doubling in the past two years, we are also making technology investments that will aid in the execution of our internal processes, thus making new business reviews quicker and smoother. By combining the transload and economic development functions, we will be able to integrate your freight into the network to fit your long-term growth plans. We have updated our Economic Development Web pages at bnsf.com to reflect the reorganization, and to allow you to more quickly and easily find the information most pertinent to your business. View our redesigned Economic Development home page.
The BNSF Economic Development team is here to help you realize growth opportunities and to ensure that your region’s freight is best-positioned to realize the full efficiencies of rail. As you consider your options for expansion, construction, relocation or transloading, rely on your new Regional Manager to help you plan the future of your freight mobility.
Thank you for your business,
Assistant Vice President, Economic Development
