Final Report: Derailment UP Mojave Sub

On Saturday, February 17th, 2018 at 06:00 a.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment on the main track near Cable, CA. Cable, CA is approximately 40 miles south of Bakersfield, CA. The Main track returned to service on Sunday, February 18th, at 12:55 p.m. CDT.

BNSF will continue to provide you with additional information as it becomes available. Customers may experience delays of 12 to 24 hours on shipments moving through this area.
