Update: Derailment at Panhandle, TX
As previously reported, intermodal train Q-CLOSTL1-20 derailed on multiple main tracks at Panhandle, Texas, 11:55 p.m. Central time, Thursday, June 20, 2013. The train was operating between Amarillo, TX and Enid, OK. Panhandle, Texas is located 27.6 miles northeast of Amarillo, TX.
Alternate routes have been established to move traffic around this segment of track.
The North Siding has re-opened as of 8:00 p.m. Central time and Main One has re-opened as of 10:00 p.m. Central time, Friday June, 21 allowing for some train movement, although will still see delays through area. Estimated time of opening for Main Two is 6:00 a.m., June 22, 2013.

Customers may experience delays of 24 to 48 hours on shipments moving through this corridor.
