Final Report: Derailment at Williston, ND
On Friday, October 13th, 2017 at 4:50 p.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of an empty grain train derailment on the main track near Williston, ND which caused a local train to derail, blocking both main lines. This derailment occurred at mile post 118.0, approximately 120 miles west of Minot, ND. Main track two was returned to service October 15th, 2017 at 1:18 a.m. CDT. There will be on-going repairs to Main track one but we do not foresee any significant delays to service.
