Final Report: Derailment near Everett, WA

As stated in a Service Advisory issued on December 17, 2012, mudslides have impacted rail service along the Pacific Northwest region of the BNSF network near Everett, WA. While some track repair continues, a route around the location was established and rail traffic is traversing the corridor successfully. Shipments will continue to experience delays of 24 to 36 hours during this recovery period.
