Update Report: Central Midwest Region Flooding in Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri

BNSF continues to experience flooding in the central Midwest region. Reroutes have been established where possible to minimize the impact of the flooding on our customers. There are carload industries that may not receive service due to the high waters.

The Clinton, Iowa yard on the Canadian Pacific Railroad was returned to service at 8 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, July 26, 2011.

Central Region Subdivisions currently impacted by flooding:

- Napier sub is out of service between Craig, Missouri and Bartlett, Iowa.

- Omaha sub is out of service between Oreapolis and Omaha, Nebraska.

- St. Joseph sub is out of service at Rulo, Nebraska.

BNSF will continue to assess the situation daily and provide updates as conditions change to help minimize the impact to our customers.
