Final Report: Winter Weather
As stated in a Service Advisory issued on February 25, 2012, heavy snowfall and high winds contributed to downed trees along the Scenic Subdivision near Skykomish and Winton, Washington. These conditions resulted in the cease of train movement along this corridor at 14:00 Central time in order to allow maintenance forces to clear the right of way for safe train operations.
The main tracks were returned to service and trains resumed operations at 19:45 Central time February 25, 2012.
