Frozen Meat, Poultry and Fish Price Adjustments Effective January 1, 2011: BNQ 105784, BNSFQ 108381& BNSFQ 104668
In addressing our customers’ needs for reliable and efficient service, BNSF continues to invest in our assets and infrastructure. We review and adjust our transportation rates based on market conditions and in support of the ongoing investment and maintenance of the refrigerated boxcar fleet.
In accordance with BNSF’s Industrial Products Price Calendar, frozen meat, poultry and fish in BNQ 105784, BNSFQ 108381 and BNSFQ 104668 will incur price adjustments effective January 1, 2011. For planning purposes, rate increases will average three percent (3%), plus appropriate adjustments made as we rebase fuel surcharge to reflect our $2.50 HDF strike price. Certain individual rate increases may exceed or fall below announced levels based on market conditions. Please note that joint line price increases may vary based on foreign line requirements. As announced in a Pricing Update earlier this year, BNSF prices are being rebased to a $2.50 strike price. The fuel surcharge and credit program will apply as stated in BNSF Rules Book 6100 series, item 3376.
Rates will be posted to the BNSF Price Publications Web page prior to January 1, 2011. To view the rates, please click here. The BNSF rates will be effective until March 31, 2011.
