Los Angeles and Long Beach Ports Service Update
On Wednesday, November 28, the Office Clerical Unit (OCU) of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) established picket lines at 10 of the 14 container terminals at the Port of Los Angeles and Port of Long Beach. This has altered normal cargo flow to and from the ports, however, BNSF rail operations and facilities remain fluid and are well positioned to move containers as the situation is resolved.
At this time, the expected duration of the disruption is unknown. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates in the event they affect rail operations.
Your business is important to us. Thank you for choosing BNSF Railway as your transportation service provider.
