International Service Changes Effective October 24, 2006

BNSF continues to focus on maximizing capacity to meet your shipping needs. Over the past year, BNSF has modified operating processes and service offerings in order to increase network fluidity and consistency of service.

Increasing volumes have allowed BNSF to develop point-to-point trains by going to day-of-week loadings, thereby improving the overall fluidity of the on-dock program. On October 24, 2006, the service improvements in the table below will take effect.

The changes involve day of week frequency changes, cutoff changes and lane eliminations in the markets outlined below. Please see the attached schedules to determine days of service, frequencies and cutoff/availability times. All goal changes will also apply to interline traffic.
