BNSF International Intermodal Service Changes
From Seattle International Gateway To
Eastern Interline Destinations Effective May 16, 2008
In order to more closely align train operations with volume flows from the Seattle International Gateway to eastern interline destinations, BNSF is making the following routing and day-of-week schedule changes, effective Friday, May 16, 2008.
· Seattle to Chicago international containers will move via Cicero, IL, when their offline destination on the Norfolk Southern is any of the following locations. Frequency of service will be five days per week.
o Cleveland, OH
o Columbus, OH
o Detroit, MI
o Erail, NJ
o Harrisburg, PA
o Morrisville, PA
o Norfolk, VA
o Philadelphia, PA
o Pittsburg, PA
· Seattle to Chicago international containers will move via Corwith, IL, to all CSXT destinations and NS destinations not mentioned above. Frequency of service will be four days per week.
REMINDER: As mentioned in the November 16, 2007, Marketing News, local Chicago deliveries of international containers from Seattle International Gateway will only be routed to the Logistics Park Chicago (LPC) or Corwith facilities. Frequency of service for LPC will be six days per week and Corwith (local) will be two days per week.
