BNSF Announces Pacific Northwest to Memphis Service Effective January 30, 2007
BNSF will reintroduce international intermodal container service from the Pacific Northwest to Memphis effective January 30, 2007. This service will again offer ocean carriers and their shippers another U.S. gateway for goods moving between Asia and the rapidly growing Southeast market.
By working closely with customers to focus on network design, velocity and increasing hub capacity, BNSF is well positioned to expand service through the Pacific Northwest gateway. This service provides customers broad access to the extensive BNSF network—as well as that of our rail partners—while complementing our strategic network focus on the Southeast market.
Initially this service will be offered two days a week from Tacoma South Intermodal and Seattle International Gateway. The service will be a seventh morning product offering, with the specific schedules identified on the enclosed attachment. For those of you not familiar with using Tacoma South Intermodal, please work with your BNSF account representative for details.
Your business is important to us. Thank you again for choosing BNSF as your transportation provider.
