BNSF Introduces New and Faster Premium Container Service

BNSF is pleased to announce enhancements to its Premium container service in multiple lanes, and a new Premium container service offering.

Premium Container Service Enhancements:

Alliance, TX, to San Bernardino, CA (westbound) – Effective Monday, April 20, 2009, BNSF is shortening transit times, providing morning delivery opportunities with a new 0800 availability, six days per week.

Between Los Angeles, CA, and Atlanta, GA (both westbound and eastbound) – Due to strong marketplace demand, effective Sunday, April 26, 2009, BNSF is adding a Monday service option, increasing service to six days per week.

Between Stockton, CA, and Chicago, IL (both westbound and eastbound) – Effective Monday, May 4, 2009, BNSF is providing customers with a one-day transit time improvement, six days per week.

New Premium Container Service Offering:

Between St. Louis, MO, and Stockton, CA (both westbound and eastbound) – Effective Monday, May 4, 2009, BNSF will offer a new Domestic Premium container service between St. Louis, MO, and Stockton, CA, three days per week.
