Intermodal Service Changes Effective June 8, 2006 - International

As BNSF continues to modify operating processes and service offerings in order to maintain network fluidity and improve consistency of service, the following changes are being implemented effective June 8, 2006.

Container service for traffic moving between Los Angeles and Albuquerquein both directions—will be eliminated.
Container service for traffic moving between Los Angeles and Norfolk Southern destinationsAustell, Charlotte, Charleston, Savannah, Jacksonville and Miami that is routed BNSF-Dalas-NS--will now be offered on Wednesday and Sunday only. As a result of this change, customers can now load Charlotte-NS traffic in a separate block onto approved South trains at their on-dock facilities. Customers are strongly encouraged to load this traffic at their on-dock facilities.

Container service from Los Angeles to Alliance will no longer be available on Sunday. Instead, a new Wednesday cutoff will be implemented.
El Paso to Los Angeles service will be reduced to two times a week (Tuesday and Saturday) from the current three times a week--with the Thursday cutoff being eliminated.
Omaha to Chicago service on Mondays only will be eliminated. There will be no other impacts to this schedule.

Container service between Phoenix and Alliance will be reduced from three days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) to one day a week—Friday.

In order to improve efficiency, we are consolidating empty container traffic at our Chicago facilities as follows:

o We will no longer accept empty containers destined to Kansas City at Logistics Park Chicago. All Kansas City empty containers must now be tendered to our Chicago Corwith facility.
o We will no longer accept empty containers destined to St. Paul at Logistics Park Chicago. All St. Paul empty containers must now be tendered to our Chicago Cicero facility.

o International empty containers destined to Omaha and Denver will be accepted at Logistics Park only and will no longer be accepted at either Cicero or Corwith.
Please see the attached schedules to determine days of service and frequencies.
