FXE Interchange Container Traffic Moves from Stockton to Oakland International Gateway Effective November 6, 2006
Effective November 6, 2006, container traffic currently moving on the FXE Railroad between Pantaco and Quadalajara, Mexico and Stockton, California will instead be destined to Oakland International Gateway (OIG).
All container traffic currently moving in interchange with the FXE will need to utilize ocean
20-foot or 40-foot equipment. OIG has the necessary chassis to support ocean equipment.
Please refer to the attached schedules for cutoff and availability times. The goals on the attached schedules are to the interchange point only. In addition, domestic NACS service will be eliminated between Northern California and El Paso-FXE.
