Update Report: Derailment at Newberry, California

As mentioned in a Service Advisory on April 13, 2008, BNSF reported that train S CLOSCO1 11 derailed in Newberry, California.

Train S CLOSCO1 11 derailed 13 cars at Newberry, blocking both main lines. One main line is estimated to be restored to service at 2:00 a.m. CT on Monday, April 14, 2008. No estimate on opening of the other main line.

Customers may experience delays of 12 to 24 hours on shipments moving through this area.
