Second Update Report: Derailment in Cliffs, California

As mentioned in a Service Advisory on October 9, 2008, BNSF reported that train Q STOALT1- 08 derailed on the Mojave Subdivision in Cliffs, California blocking the main line. 

In an effort to keep traffic moving, the track is being repaired in set blocks of time, with time also allotted for traffic to move around the impacted site on a siding track.  We are projecting the line to be restored to service late Sunday, October 12, 2008 with limited operations.  

Customers may experience delays of 36 to 48 hours on shipments moving through this corridor.
