BNSF Automotive 2015 Christmas and New Year's Operating Plan

HOLIDAY OBSERVANCE
This year, BNSF will observe the Christmas holiday on Thursday, December 24, and Friday, December 25, and the New Year's holiday on Thursday, December 31, and Friday, January 1.

TRAIN SERVICE
The number of trains operating on BNSF track is typically lower over the Christmas and New Year's holidays due to reduced freight volume. BNSF's Automotive 2015 operating plan for the Christmas and New Year's holidays will adjust operations to account for this potential reduction in traffic.

Due to lighter volumes and possible train consolidations, we anticipate that outbound and inbound shipments from Thursday, December 24, through Sunday, January 3, may experience delays of up to 72 hours.

INTERLINE TRAFFIC
Delays may occur on connecting railroads if carriers have reduced operations for the holiday.

AUTOMOTIVE FACILITY OPERATIONS
On Christmas Day and New Year's Day, there will be no loading or unloading of railcars. Gate activities will vary by facility. Please see the attached matrix for all facility hours during the holiday period.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT
For interactive tracing 365 days a year, please use BNSF's Web Tracing tool by logging in with your user name and password and selecting Track Your Shipment. For service issues, please call 888-428-2673 and select option 4, then option 3.

Customer Support will maintain a limited staff on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve until 6 p.m. Normal coverage will resume at 6 a.m. on the Saturday following each holiday.

SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS
Shipping instructions must be submitted via EDI or by using the BNSF Shipping Instructions Web tool. Faxed shipping instructions are not accepted. Assistance with shipping instructions at BNSF Waybill Solutions is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Please call 888-428-2673 and select option 3, option 2 and option 3 for assistance.
