Service Interruption at Rutledge, MO
At approximately 12:55 AM CT Thursday, June 14, 2007 train ZWSPALT8-13 was stopped due to a service interruption at Rutledge, MO which is approximately 42 miles SW of Fort Madison, IA. The incident caused track damages to one of the two main lines. Although the other main line is still in operation, we are experiencing heavy congestion through this corridor.
The current estimate for restoring the damaged main track back to service is 3:00 PM CT, June 14, 2007.
