BNSF 2007 Thanksgiving Holiday Automotive Operating Plan
This year, the Thanksgiving Holiday will be observed on Thursday, November 22, and Friday, November 23. Below is a summary of the planned operational changes and other helpful information applicable to the holiday.
BNSF will continue to operate automotive trains over the Thanksgiving weekend. Traffic that either originates or arrives at destination Thursday, November 22, through Monday, November 26, may experience extended destination availabilities of up to 48 hours.
Delays may occur on interline traffic if connecting carriers have reduced operations for the holiday.
AUTOMOTIVE FACILITY OPERATIONS
On Thanksgiving Day, facilities will be closed unless business warrants staying open. Please contact your BNSF Automotive Marketing or Customer Support Representative if you anticipate critical service requirements over the holiday.
A limited Customer Support staff will be available to take calls on Thursday, November 22, and Friday, November 23. Customer Support will provide normal weekend coverage on Saturday, November 24, and Sunday, November 25. For assistance, please call 1-888-428-2673.
