BNSF Automotive 2007 Christmas and New Year’s Holiday Operating Plan

HOLIDAY OBSERVANCE
This year the Christmas and New Year’s holidays fall on Monday, December 24, Tuesday, December 25, Monday, December 31, 2007, and Tuesday, January 1, 2008. Below is a summary of the planned operational changes and other helpful information applicable to the holidays.

TRAIN SERVICE
BNSF will continue to operate automotive trains over the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Traffic that either originates or arrives at destination Sunday, December 23, through Monday, January 7, may experience extended destination availabilities of 24 to 72 hours.

INTERLINE TRAFFIC
Delays may occur on interline traffic if connecting carriers have reduced operations for the holiday.

AUTOMOTIVE FACILITY OPERATIONS
On Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, there will be no loading or unloading of railcars. Gate activities will vary by facility. Please see the attached matrix for all facility hours during the holiday period.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT
A limited Customer Support staff will be available to take calls on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Normal coverage will resume on the Wednesday following each holiday. For assistance, please call 1-888-428-2673.

SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS
Assistance with shipping instructions at the BNSF Revenue and Pre-Rate Waybilling Center is available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Please call 1-888-428-2673 for assistance.
