Final Report: Derailment at Seneca, Nebraska

As stated in the Service Advisory issued on March 10, 2011, BNSF reported that coal trains C-BKMRTR0-37and E-RRSWTM0-13 derailed near Seneca, Nebraska.

Main track one was returned to service at 7:45 a.m. Mountain Time and main track two was returned to service at 10:45 a.m. Mountain Time on March 11, 2011.

Customers will experience delays of 12 to 24 hours throughout the weekend as track work continues and we work through the congestion surrounding the derailment site.
