High Water - Connell, Washington

At 7:35 p.m. CT on Sunday, February 10, 2008 track inspection found water over the rail between Connell, Washington and Cunningham, Washington. Cunningham is 40 miles east of Pasco, Washington. Train operations have been halted this corridor until water recedes. Water was due to snow melt and precautionary measures are being put in place to restore track operation.

BNSF personnel are monitoring the situation and have no estimate for restoring track operations.

Customers may experience delays of 12 to 24 hours on shipments moving through this corridor.
