BNSF Intermodal 2017-2018 Christmas and New Year’s Operating Plan

TRAIN SERVICE
This year, BNSF will observe the Christmas holiday on Sunday, December 24, and Monday, December 25, and the New Year’s holiday on Sunday, December 31, and Monday, January 1, 2018.

The number of trains operating on BNSF track is typically lower over the Christmas and New Year's holidays due to reduced freight volume. BNSF's Intermodal 2017-2018 operating plan for the Christmas and New Year's holidays will adjust operations to account for this potential reduction in traffic and possible train consolidations. Connecting carriers who have reduced operations for the holiday may cause delays on interline traffic. As a result, shipments from
Sunday, December 24, through Wednesday, January 3, may experience delays of approximately 24 to 48 hours.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT
For interactive tracking 365 days a year, please use BNSF’s Tracking tool by logging in with your user name and password and selecting Track Your Shipment. For service issues, please call 888-428-2673 and select option 4, then option 3.

Customer Support will maintain a limited staff on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve until 6 p.m. Standard coverage will resume at 6 a.m. on the Tuesday following each holiday.
