Preliminary Report of Flooding Conditions – Fort Scott, Kansas
We have a report that flooding conditions have caused an interruption in service near Ft. Scott, Kansas. This location is approximately 95 miles south of Kansas City, Kansas. This impacts service between Kansas City, Kansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma. The purpose of this email is to inform customers that BNSF personnel are enroute to the location to determine the impact and how this may affect shipments on trains moving through this area.

Tracks are currently out of service, and river levels continue to rise with threats of additional thunderstorms. Customers should expect to see 24 to 48 hour delays on traffic moving through this corridor.
