Update Report: Derailment at Pica, Arizona

As mentioned in an earlier Service Advisoryon March 17, 2008, BNSF reported that both the Q NYCLAC6-14 and Z KCKNBY1-15 trains derailed at Pica, Arizona.

The Z KCKNBY1-15 derailed 10 cars and the Q NYCLAC6-14 derailed three cars blocking both main tracks. One main track is estimated to be restored to service at 10:00 p.m. CT March 17, 2008 and the second main track is estimated to be restored to service at 10:00 a.m. CT March 18, 2008.

Customers may experience delays of 24 to 36 hours on shipments moving through this corridor.
