At approximately 2:40 A.M. CT, Thursday, October 18, 2007, train M-PASTAC1-17 derailed blocking
both main tracks at Nisqually, Washington. This location is approximately 17 mines south of Tacoma, Washington.
Both main tracks were returned to service at 11:15 P.M. CT on Friday, October 19, 2007.
Traffic volumes in this region remain high and train flow will be monitored to maintain fluidity. Customers
may exprience 24 hours delay on traffic moving through this corridor.
