Final Report: Track Washout at Richie, Missouri

        As mentioned in a Service Advisory on October 9, 2009, BNSF reported the main track was taken out of service at Richie, Missouri, 60 miles west of Springfield, Missouri. The main track was returned to service at 12:00 p.m. CT on October 10, 2009.

        BNSF will continue to monitor train flow to maintain fluidity. Customers may experience delays of 12 to 24 hours on shipments moving through this corridor.
