BNSF Agricultural Products 2015 Thanksgiving Operating Plan

HOLIDAY OBSERVANCE
This year, BNSF will observe the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 26, and Friday, November 27.

SHUTTLE TRAIN SERVICE
Thanksgiving Day is a shuttle holiday.

Empty Shuttles
Customers with empty trains arriving at the loading facility after 12 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, may elect to move their official spot time to 6 a.m. Friday, November 27. During this time frame, trains may be loaded if desired.

Loaded Shuttles
Customers with loaded trains arriving at an unload facility after 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, may elect to move their official spot time to 6 a.m. Friday, November 27. During this time frame, trains may be unloaded if desired.

In either case, customers who elect to move their spot time must contact BNSF Grain Operations at least eight hours in advance and advise of their intentions for train, power and crew planning purposes.

There is no allowance for the Friday after Thanksgiving. Origination Efficiency Payment (OEP) or Destination Efficiency Payment (DEP) will be lost if customer(s) elect to operate outside of these allowances.

Throughout the holiday weekend, BNSF will remain focused on keeping the Grain Network performing to meet demand.

CARLOAD TRAIN SERVICE
BNSF’s Carload 2015 Thanksgiving operating plan will remain focused on meeting customers’ expectations while matching operations to any reductions in traffic volumes.

During the holiday weekend, carload and local terminal train service will operate according to normal schedules, sizing yard support to reflect specific customer holiday requirements.

BNSF may annul or consolidate some carload train symbols, including through, local and industry switch jobs, immediately following the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

INTERLINE TRAFFIC
Delays may occur on interline traffic if connecting carriers have reduced operations for the holiday.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT
For interactive tracing 365 days a year, please use BNSF’s Web Tracing tool by logging in with your user name and password and selecting Track Your Shipment. For service issues, please call 888-428-2673 and select option 4, then option 3.

Customer Support and Grain Operations will provide normal weekend coverage.

SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS
Shipping instructions must be submitted via EDI or by using the BNSF Shipping Instructions Web tool. Faxed shipping instructions are not accepted. Assistance with shipping instructions at BNSF Waybill Solutions is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Please call 888-428-2673 and select option 3, option 2 and option 3 for assistance.
