Billing Changes for Moves on WTLC Effective August 1, 2015
Effective August 1, shipments with the West Texas & Lubbock Railroad (WTLC), acting as an interline carrier in the revenue route, will be converted to the Lubbock and Western Railway (LBWR) for accounting/pricing purposes.
This is the result of the Watco Companies' recent purchase of WTLC, which began operating as the LBWR on July 8, 2015. Any shipping instructions referencing WTLC in the revenue route should be changed to reflect LBWR beginning August 1. Accordingly, freight bills with thru pricing will also reflect the LBWR. Shipper/consignee information should continue to reflect the proper physical address and city/state.
