New Customer Dwell Management Tool

In an effort to make doing business easier with BNSF, the new Customer Dwell Management tool will be available in the next several weeks. This tool will replace the current eDemurrage application with improved functionality and an updated customer interface, making it easier for you to monitor your shipments.

The new Customer Dwell Management tool will:

  • Leverage technology to improve the user experience
  • Increase the level of customer communication
  • Make it easier to monitor and manage your dwell
  • Streamline the process for reviewing current equipment status and decisions that impact dwell
  • Display current business and historical activity in one location
  • Increase visibility to charges and car history
  • Improve and simplify billing inquiries

Other features will include expandable/collapsible data; the ability to export data in various formats; and the integration of facility data elements, service schedules and BNSF/customer performance.
