Redesigned Customer Notifications Tool Makes Managing Subscriptions Easy

Based on your feedback, BNSF is streamlining the way customers manage their subscriptions to notifications through an enhanced version of the Customer Subscription Service. Beginning today, you will see changes to the application that include:

Redesigned layout and organization – The application now features three tabs – Monitor Shipments, BNSF Updates and Pricing – and intuitive sub-sections to help you quickly and easily find and manage your subscriptions.

    Simplified subscribe and unsubscribe process – Simply check or uncheck the boxes beside each notification, or click the edit icons to change or remove your subscription. The number beside each notification type lets you know how many of each you are subscribed to.

    New help features – The application features a Help link on each tab to aid in navigation and mouse-over text on each notification with format type and schedule information.


    To access the Notifications tool, log in to, then look in the Manage section on the Applications channel for “Customer Subscription Service”.

    All customers with a account will soon see the Customer Subscription Service application in a new Notifications channel on their home page when they log in to Once available, you can make changes to placement or remove the channel by clicking on the Content link from your home page.
