Demurrage Invoice and Resolution Notification Now Available on bnsf.com

Beginning today, Tuesday, January 4, 2011, the “Demurrage Invoice/Resolution” notification will be available for subscription in the Notifications channel on bnsf.com. Previously, carload customers could subscribe to this notification in the eDemurrage tool. Beginning today, customers can continue to view the notification in the eDemurrage tool, but will manage their subscription with other notification options in the Notifications channel.

What is it?
This notification allows you to request invoices via email instead of the U.S. Postal Service and receive notifications on demurrage issue resolution status. You can set preferences to define the frequency and amount of information received on the emails.

How do I sign up?
Customers must be a registered bnsf.com user to sign up to receive notices by email or to view the notices online. If you do not have access to the secure bnsf.com, you can register at any time by clicking on the “Register” link in the Customer Login box on the BNSF home page.

Email subscriptions can be found on your secure bnsf.com home page inside the Notifications channel.
