New and Improved Railcar Equipment Request Tool Arriving in November

BNSF is pleased to announce the newly refined Railcar Equipment Request (RER) tool on secure bnsf.com. Updates will be rolled out to customers from mid-November through mid-December in a phased approach. Users will be notified when they will be converted to the new tool.

This improved tool streamlines and simplifies the process for placing and managing railcar orders and includes new options. For example:


    Customer and location selection are on a single screen.

    A single calendar allows entry of orders and modification of existing orders.

    For stressed fleets, easier identification if cars are available.

    LOGS customers will know immediately if non-LOGS cars are available.



To access the RER tool, log in to www.bnsf.com and look for the link under Ship. If you currently have access to RER, you will be notified when you will be converted to the new tool, Railcar Equipment Request Tool v2.0.

If you do not have access to the secure bnsf.com, you can register at any time by clicking the
Register link in the Customer Login box on the BNSF home page. When registering, please request access by clicking Railcar Equipment Request Tool v2.0 on the More Tools screen.
