Final Report: Derailment at Bill, Wyoming

As stated in a preliminary report, at 1:05 a.m. November 24, 2013, FCROWB9123, a UP coal train moving on BNSF track, derailed across three main tracks between Bill, Wyoming and Shawnee Junction, Wyoming. This location is 65 miles west of Guernsey, Wyoming and 132 miles east of Gillette, Wyoming.

Main track three opened at 1:00 p.m. Central Time on November 24, 2013. Main track two opened at 1:00 a.m. Central Time on November 25, 2013. Main track one opened at 12:30 p.m. Central Time on November 25, 2013.

Customers may experience delays of 24 to 48 hours on shipments moving through this corridor.
