A flash flood washed out 300 feet of main track in one location and 600 feet of track shoulder in multiple locations in Lambert, Wyoming at 7:54 p.m. Central time on July 24, 2013. Lambert is 147 miles northwest of Denver, Colorado on the BNSF Front Range Subdivision which runs between Denver, Colorado, and Wendover, Wyoming en route to Laurel, Montana.
