Preliminary Report: Service Interruption at Plymouth, Washington

We have received a preliminary report of a natural gas leak at a non-BNSF facility in proximity to BNSF track near Plymouth, Washington. Plymouth, Washington is approximately four hours from Seattle, Washington. There is no damage to BNSF tracks or trains, and responders are on site to determine the impact. Currently we have no estimated time of opening through the area.

BNSF will continue to provide you with additional information as it becomes available. Customers may experience delays of 36 to 48 hours moving through this corridor.
