Final Report: Derailment at Marmon, New Mexico
As mentioned in a Service Advisory issued on Thursday, October 10, 2013, BNSF reported that intermodal train Q-HOULAC1-08 derailed on both main tracks at Marmon, New Mexico. Marmon, New Mexico is located 48 miles west of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The first main track was returned to service at 11:45 p.m. Central Time on Thursday, October 10, 2013. The second main track was returned to service at 03:45 a.m. Central Time on Friday, October 11, 2013.
Customers may experience delays of 24 to 36 hours on shipments moving through this corridor.
