West Coast Marine Terminal Update
Though unresolved labor issues continue to limit marine terminal productivity and impede normal supply chain flows, westbound pipelines have become manageable. BNSF Railway is encouraged that parties involved have agreed to mediation and urge prompt restoration of full production levels necessary to avoid further disruptions.
As a result, BNSF is lifting its embargo on westbound traffic received at interchange destined to marine terminals served on the West Coast, effective 5:00 p.m., CST, January 7, 2015.
We will continue to provide updates as conditions change.
